Device details and specifications

Introducing a watch that pushes boundaries, for athletes that do the same. Meet the most rugged and capable Apple Watch ever. Designed to take on extreme environments, elevations, and temperatures, Apple Watch Ultra is an essential exploration tool that can take you everywhere. And help get you home. Everything to love about Apple Watch Ultra with features that help you stay healthy, safe, and connected.

Action button can quickly drop a Compass Waypoint at your location or immediately start Backtrack, so you can focus on the journey ahead or behind you. Direct sunlight is no obstacle for an AlwaysOn Retina display that's an eye-opening 2000 nits at its peak and twice as bright as any other Apple Watch.

Wayfinder face features a time dial that can be switched to a live compass and has room for eight complications. In low light situations, you can rotate the Digital Crown to activate Night Mode and see the watch face turn a vivid red.

New depth gauge. It also delivers the data and functionality required by scuba and free divers for descents down to 40 meters.

Crash Detection. New sensors and a machine learning algorithm work to detect severe car crashes and automatically contact emergency services. If you get lost or injured and need to attract attention, hold the Action button to activate a Siren.
